The Return of Kong Megaways slot is another in the licence deal between Big Time Gaming and Blueprint and we’d happily see a few more.
This is a really well polished and beautifully presented game.
They have spent much more time animating King Kong himself in this one compared to its non-Megaways cousin. Thank heavens for that!

Cascading Symbols
- All winning symbols will cause a chain reaction.

It’s a cracker!
They’ve created a nicely balanced game that avoids all the little niggles that we can get with megaways games. particularly the music. Playing megaways base games means a lot of time chasing a bonus, which means a lot of time listening to the same music, over and over ad nauseum (are your ears burning Bonanza?). The music on this is fine. Even for long periods of time. That alone is a massive win.

This is not an entirely new game, as it’s a sequel of King Kong Cash and one that has been around for many years.
Return of the Kong uses the megaways system, a concept that has gained massive popularity in the recent past.
I have tried this game by Blueprint Gaming, and here is my review:

Just like we have seen on many other megaways, this slot uses 6 reels and as many as 117,649 Megaways. However the number of megaways is not fixed and it could also be lower, depending on the symbols present.
Blueprint has offered a lot of features for this slot, and these include cascading reels, free spins, the Mystery Kong bonus, scatters, wilds ( with unlimited multipliers) among others.
Betting and Prizes
With as little as $0.10, this slot is quite accommodative, and you do not need to use loads of cash to place a wager. However, if you are a high roller, the developer allows bets of up to $100 per spin.
Return of Kong has a fair RTP of 96.03%, and this is the common range within many modern slots.
The potential pay-outs can get to 50,000x total stake; however, Blueprint has placed a cap at $250,000.
The slot has very high variance, and this is quite common among slots that offer high returns.

The wild symbol is one of the features that you cannot miss on many slots. It’s present here as well, and with its assistance, you can be able to easily form winning combos.
Each time you form wins, the cascading reels mechanic will be triggered. If you are not well versed with how cascading reels work, they simply remove the winning symbols and replace them with new ones.
King Kong Cash Megaways Free Play
Return of Kong Megaways has a random feature as well, and this is known as the Mystery Kong feature. With this feature, we see Kong throwing barrels towards the reels, this result in a single type of random symbol.
I love free spins and I was able to enjoy some after landing the K, O, N and G symbols on the slot’s middle reels. In total, 12 free spins are available. Every new win that is brought about by the free spins will increase the multiplier by 1x.
Theme & Design
Blueprint has used Kong, a huge gorilla who is donning a crown as the slot’s main character. Return of Kong Megaways uses the jungle-themed from where it draws its inspiration.
The regular symbols come in different icons that include colourful Royal letters/numbers, icons of animals like tiger, rhino, and parrot).
The design is great, but not quite original.
